Hyperkeratosis

Last February, I had an internal ultrasound and ct scan. They discovered a dermoid tumor. I had surgery to remove that along with the ovary. I recently had my pap and received a call that they found hyperkeratosis. Could you tell me exactly what that is. Could that be cancer? I was referred to a gynecologist next month. Just would like some answers before then.
