LEEP for CIN II/III with Positive Margins...

I had my LEEP last week and my results are in.  The LEEP biopsy is concurrent with the CIN II/III findings of my colposcopy.  However, due to the multifocal nature of the lesion (I am understanding correctly that this means "varying severity" of the lesion, right?) the abnormal cells extended to the margins of the sample.  Now, my doctor says that we likely got all of the residual dysplasia via cauterization, but I could not be more disappointed with these results.  I wish, oh how I wish, that I would have just had LEEP the first time when it was all moderate instead of wasting time with cryotherapy.

I am trying very hard now to remain hopeful.  I feel that my life now is a lot more conducive to my body eradicating any remaining dysplasia than it would have been a year ago.  I have made several changes to my lifestyle, including finding a new job that doesn't stress me out or make me cry every week, and trying to make peace with my last job that DID stress me out and make me cry every week.  I am on an initiative to eat healthier and make sure there are many a fruit and veggie in my diet.  And vitamins, vitamins, vitamins.  I'm probably overdoing the vitamins, actually.  I take a daily regimen of a prenatal supplement, Vitamin B Complex, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Vitamin E, Folic Acid, Beta Carotene, L-Lysine, Selenium, and combination herbal supplement of Astragalus with Echinacea.  I don't smoke and never have, and I've stopped drinking any alcohol whatsoever.  I get necessary rest, and I intend to start taking short walks every morning before work.

Even after all of this, I will feel a million times better if I know that it's possible to have positive margins with a first LEEP, but then still go on to freeness from dysplasia without needing any additional treatment.  Has anyone here had success with only one LEEP even after having positive margins?

I honestly don't understand all the margins, and all that. I'm not even familiar with Leep, oddly enough. I was diagnosed with cervical cancer this past Jan. though. Kudos to you for having Leep and getting it taken care of quickly. Best of luck to you!
