Pathology Question

I was clinically diagnosed with cervical adenocarcinoma stage 1 B in January and underwent a radical hysterectomy. Because of risk factors, I am undergoing five weeks of radiation therapy and five weeks of cisplatin IV's and will undergo three high dose implants.

In reading my pathology report, it indicates that the adenocarcinoma extends to the posterior radial (deep) cervical margin focally ; also lymphovascular invasion is present.

I would appreciate someone interpreting the deep cervical margin and lymphovascular information found on the pathology report.

Thank you,
