I have been post-menapausal for a couple of years now and went for my annual gyn visit and was told everything looks fine but my gyn now prescribes medroxyprac 10 mg to help shed any excess that could build up in the lining of the uterus. This med is to help prevent cervical cancer. This med is to be taken for 10 consecutive days once a year. My problem is I read the side affects and became stressed. Been there, done that, and don't want to go through the ordeal of side affects due to a period or pill med. Please give insight on post-menapausal women and this med.
