Warts and Cervical cancer

I was diagnosed with HPV about a year ago, the warts keep coming back every month or so after freezing them.
My girlfriend is now experiencing them in her internally in her vagina.

Every site I go to is very satire, and doctors all have different opinions.

I was told that if the warts are visible on me, that if they appear on her they are non cancerous.
Then I was told by a different doctor that it does not matter than that the warts if untreated have a possibility of turning into cancer.
I don't know who to believe, doctors don't seem to have a straight forward answer, can some one or a doctor please answer this to the best of their ability, without just copy and pasting.

Hello.

Warts aren't cancerous. It is a different type of HPV that causes cancer which is known as high risk HPV. The pap test checks for some high risk HPVs so if your girlfriend has it then she will soon know. However, the warts will be non cancerous. The Dr who told you that warts can be cancerous failed to mention the fact it is very very very unlikely for that strain of HPV to lead to cancer.

The warts wont turn cancerous if she doesn't treat them (or very unlikely to) however they will either go, stay the same, or get bigger. So it is important to treat!
