fluid in cervix

my cousin went to the dr. and they did a ultrasound it showed fluid in her cervix and a large gold ball sized bruising we are really worried about this and not sure what to do. the dr gave her a piece of paper for a obgyn but when she called them they said that dr had to call them to refer her whic he wont do. she goes to her dr on monday but im worried that could be to long she is in alot of pain and i told her to go to the bigger hospital an hr away and have it looked at. is this serious should she get right in to a dr now or wait till her appointment on monday morning with her family dr.
