if anybody had pre cancer cells

i was 19 when i found out that i had abnormal cells. but i had leep produce done. and the doctor told me they got it all but i have to do pap smears every four months. i want to no if the pre cancer cells every return? im 19 and im scared.

Hi - I am 33 now and about 2.5 years ago, I had severe dysplacia and also had a LEEP procedure done.  I was checked every 3 months the first year and every 6 months the second.  Everything was fine.  My last pap showed my HPV was back so I am getting another Pap at the end of December.

So yes, the pre cancer cells can return but I wouldn't worry too much, you are still very young and if you read about cervical cancer, it takes a very long time for it to actually become "cancer".
