cervical cancer runs in my family. i am 26 years old and have 4 children oldest 9 youngest 18 months. its happend 4/5 times, im on the pill and have been formany years, my periods are like clockwork ever time. when i start havin sex with my partner im havin abdomanal pains just above my pubic bone area, then start bleeding when we have finished i still bleed and am still in pain.
Post-coital bleeding can be because of local factors like cervical erosion and polyps which are benign conditions. In view of your family history an internal examination and Pap smear are necessary. This will help know the exact status. Consult a gynaecologist.
Hope this helps.
