My mam 56 years old, underwent modified radical mastectomy for a tumor of 2 cm grade 2 and t1 pathologically, after the surgery the spicement also examined pathologically revealed that no reminants of the tumor and lymph node negative, and ER ,PR,H2R protein are negative.she in menopause stage from 5 to 6 years.
Is there any recommendation for post operative chemotherapy?
Recent European (St Gallen Consensus Conference) and American (National Comprehensive Cancer Network) guidelines clearly state that a breast cancer patient with tumor of size 2 cm (as in your mothers case) would benefit from chemotherapy.
All the best, and God Bless!
