I've been to Florence several times -- Venice once -- and just last yr I went on my first tour there (or anywhere) ever.  I didnt even tell my family.  It was very difficult having to be ready on time, the winding roads, the air pollution, no chance to rest, eating so late, not sleeping well.  But of course it was also wonderful.  OMG, just the food!

It probably contributed to my decline though, which occurred  couple weeks later.  But then I finally got an accurate Dx!

I want to go here  :-)

I would love to spend some time in Italy.  My mother was from Florence, & I still have aunts & cousins there.
You never know....
Life would be hard there, disabled.
