I found this site to be very informative....  in the resource section the Patient Advocate Foundation. Their web site has hundreds of resources for people who need help, with anything from Meals on wheels contacts to local social and health services your area...

That is their direct web site. I spend hours yesterday writing down  contacts that not only benifit me, but my family and friends that need help in their own ways.

Good luck Stacey! You are in my prayers and thoughts ;)  Another site to look at is www.wishesandrainbows.org they help people with chiari and syrinx but also look at their offsite links! Lots of good info!

That article was written my many doctors, Richard Ellenbogen is one of them and that is who I sent my MRI's and records for viewing at the Seattle Chiari clinic. I am excited and worried at the same time... They recieved my info and I am waiting to hear back.  Wish me luck!!!
