After surgery my symptoms feel like there coming back. Has this happened to others?

My surgery was done 7/11/2017.  I had a craniotomy with duraplasty.  The symptoms were all gone for about 6 weeks until I got my hair done.  while laying back in The sink to wash my hair I had extreme pain.  Since then my symptoms have gradually gotten worse.  The doctor said via phone I must have aggravated it and it will subside .  Does that sound normal ???

YES.....we are told to avoid those sinks....it is not good for the neck even before surgery let alone so close to having had surgery.....you need to take it easy post op and allow your body to heal....not sure what else you are doing but slow down and listen to your body....

Thanks Selma, I didn't receive much direction from my surgeon.  He simply said after 8 weeks you should be good to go back to work.
What do you do at work....? Everyone is different and it also depends on other related conditions you may also have....I never was able to go back to work and would not have been able to at 8 weeks.....if you are not feeling well it is your body telling you to cut back some and move forward more slowly.....
