Arachnoid cyst, Chiari malformation, pseudotumor

My 16 year old son was born with large posterior fossa arachnoid cyst required vp shunt at 4 months by 10 his cyst collapsed shunt disabled due to malfunction.. By age 13 he had developed intracranial hypertension was placed on 2000 mlg of diamox daily took 1000 time release in morning and same at night... In December he was tapered off the diamox and no longer taking it.. I am in search of another male with all of these issues or even a female... Our son has other issues that it seems to his Drs to be nothing to be concerned with but these things effect his quality of life and we want help for him! At the very least some advice from someone out there who has or is going through this as well with their son... Please help us understand also how and why he developed all 3 and if his pain is hopefully finally over... Believe me when I tell you all 3 of these problems have caused him pain that I can't even imagine
