Attempting to work while waiting on referral(still waiting)

I work in a sewing factory & I'm trying not to constantly look down, kinda hard to do, but the back of my neck is constantly burning & when I try to rub it, my vision gets even funkier :-(  let me guess, don't rub it lol? My pcp said to try to continue on my normal activities but when u can't focus, literally your eyes, what are u supposed to do? I may try calling my insurance company after work to see if I can get any answers... I'm worried my symptoms r getting so much worse that any symptoms won't be reversible once I do get to see NS......

  Thanks for the update.....my Drs here do not have a clue...and my issues were long b4 I had my chiari dx....so once u do know, I feel we have to push for the care of our eyes too.

Hi Selma. Just came from am eyeexam needed for my appointment with the neuro-opthalmologist and they said some of my eye conditions are due to Chiari. Some we still have to determine when I actually see the doc on the 27th. I will update you on what he says after. I guess am lucky that the docs they refer me to are familiar with Chiari. They seem to me like they see a few patients with my problems because they are not surprised or font seem to be at a loss when I ask them questions.
I will let you know though after I see him how it went.

  When I went to my Drs, both my PCP and my eye Dr about my vision yrs ago, they both said it was due to age....that my eyes were not focusing the way they use to....

But the eye Dr said I did not need glasses!...But I could not see!!!!!

????? I was so lost...this was in 2000.....actually b4 then...it is crazy, so I went to the store and got a pair of magnification glasses...they worked for a while, but I am right back where I was b4 and the glasses I have do not always help....but I can not see things on my diner plate with out them....

SO how can it be age?

Push them to look at ur eyes more I wish I had....
