CHAIRI EXPERTS IN COLORADO

I have been dealing with this for about 4 years; it is getting worse all the time, tinnus - extreme pressure behind left ear - blurry vision from time to time cluster head aches - migranes (migraines).  My M.R.I.'s from a couple of weeks ago show that it is a "Mild Case" and that the nuerosurgon feels that SURGERY is not the answer.


I have an appt. with a Pain Managment doctor on the 15th.

If this is mild then I would hate for it to be severe...
I have read Contents Under Pressure and found it a "Great Read"

I am thinking about getting the the Experts in Colorado perhaps or New York.  Colorado is so much closer.
Does anyone have the name & location for them.  I have found it once before and I am having trouble locating them again.  

I really do not know how much longer I can go on with out surgery or stronger meds.  Any and all help would be greatly asppreciated.  I have also read some artcles about a hospital in Missourri that is starting to specalize in Arnold Chari Malformations.

I will PM the info to ur profile page...but Dr John Oro is in CO and Dr Paolo Bolognese is in Great Neck NY at the Chiari institute.
Yes, there is a chiari institute in MI as well.

Ur dr saying ur chiari is "mild" is because he is only looking at ur herniation size.....and he is not a chiari specialist. A specilaist would know that it all depends on wether or not u have a CSF blockage and ur symptoms.

  Thanks for your words; it is very kind of you to say these things.  It is so true - this Doc is supposed to be one of the best in my state.  It is the second oponion that I have recieved.  5 months invested and now time to go to the Specalists Perhaps.

  I had major back surgery almost 2 years ago and it was a walk in the park compared to this last year or so.  Things just slowly get a little worse all the time.  I am grouchy with my loving family.  He went on to say that perhaps a person to see would be a SHRINK  if it is starting to effect your personal life.  

  I told him I think I know what it feels like to be a "wounded animal", that is what I feel like at this point.  He said go to the pain manamgnet doc - OKAY I told him no that I will not say things are okay.  Because they are not okay...And we will see what she can do for you it is only a couple of weeks away from now.

  So perhaps it is time to say next...
