Can anyone help w the run around?

I call my NL cause I'm very dizzy today and cant shake it... well the nurse says call PCP we sure it's not cm realted nor a TIA... I feel so helpless not what I'm use to!

  Hi...can u describe if this is dizzy or vertigo?...there is a difference....dizzy, u just feel dizzy, but with vertigo, the room feels like it is spinning and u get nauseated.....

One thing u can try to see if it is an inner ear issue is lay down and slowly roll to ur side, and stay on ur side for a while b4 getting up.....then slowly mover just ur legs and shift urself in a sitting position....

   once u do this on ur left  or right side repeat with the other side so both are done.....

   U should also get up like this every morning or time u get up if this works...if it is an inner ear issue.....

  Another tip I was told works if it is dizziness and the inner ear trick does not work is get some non drowsey Dramamine from the drug store...I have had quite a few swear to it working for them.

   The only other thing I can suggest is a quiet day of rest....

Ive been gettin the run around since my surgery from one of my nls,and my ns. I dont know what else we can do, sorry to hear your still in pain. Its bull$hit

I hate dizzy spells. Mine are getting worse and my doctors kept blaming position benign vertigo even though the er doctor told me it only lasts 2 weeks and my dizzy spells at the time of the er visit was 2 weeks already for the worsening and 19 years in general. Call them again and insist on it being something to look into is my suggestion.

I feel your flustration.  This is Chairi run around.  Just keep being persistant and you will find the answer's you are looking for.  Wish you the best in getting answer's
