Celebrex Experience Anyone?

Trying a new drug for pain... Celebrex.  I was on Diamox but could not tolerate it as it caused severe kidney PAIN.  So, my PCP wants me to try Celebrex (3 days on, 3 days off).  Anyone have any experience/knowledge of this med and, if so, how did you fare with it?

I take celebrex and it seems to give me some relief.Because its an anti-inflammatory med, it could help a lot with swollen areas. Sometimes it's tough to tell when you are several different meds - which one helps the most? I've never had a bad reaction to celebrex and it's easier on the stomach than ones like naproxen - which caused an ulcer in lower esophogous.

  Not sure I ever met someone that was fun who was in pain....but listen to him, sounds like he cares....

Thanks...I've been in "a good patch" lately....so not much to complain about (seems very odd) but my husband keeps reminding me not to "over-do" it as I'm not much fun when my head hurts!!

  Hi...I was not on this med, but u may get an array of answers both good and bad as we r all diff. I know many that take the Diamox with no problems, same with Celebrex...but, u had issues with the Diamox, just as I know those  that had issues with Celebrex.

All u can do is try it and see how it goes for u...and do let us know : )
