Chiari 1 malformation

This is my third time here on the chat and just before I ask my question would like to thank anyone who has answered my previous questions bc it has helped a lot for me understanding what this is and how to deal with it. I still have trouble though with it bc of the new symptoms that come out of nowhere. What's hard is that I don't know how to control it or treat it. The newest symptom I'm feeling is ringing in the ear. I've had them before but not as severe as it is now. My ears have been ringing for acouple of days now and I was wondering if there's anything I can do to treat it or control it? I'm going to the doctors today to get my ears checked. Is there anything I should specifically tell them or ask them? Any help is great thank you!

Hi sorry I did not see this earlier...but always tell your Drs about new symptoms....tinnitus is common for those with Chiari....I never found a way to help the ringing.....so if you find out something that will help let me know.

Chiari symptoms are ever changing and cycle with periods where we feel worse then others and times we feel great and do not notice any symptoms...these periods can last a few days to months...

I know it is frustrating trying to understand all that goes with this condition. Hang in there
