Chiari 1 symptoms?

Hi I'm new to chiari and its symptoms and what it can do to my body. Having a hard time telling if the symptoms I'm feeling are because of the Chiari 1 malformation that I have or that they are something else. I have lately been feeling a lot better then I did a couple of days ago. There are still moments though when I'm up and about In school that I start to feel fatigue and my arms feeling heavy and either of my left or right arm starting to feel pressure and tightness and pain at times. What's weird is that it shifts from one arm to the other or somewhere else in my body. One minute I'm fine and the next I have stomach pain or throat problems or pain in my back. Something new that I realized waking up today is my bottom lip is getting bigger or got big. Wondering if this is part of the symptoms or something else and should get help? Any help is great thank you!

Hi Ricardo, Chiari symptoms cycle....so for you to have some good  days and then some days that are worse is not uncommon.

And Chiari does not typically come alone....there are related conditions.....and many times the symptoms we have are difficult to know which condition they are from...and they are similar symptoms as well.....

You definitely need to have more testing you will want a true Chiari specialist to help you as they know about related conditions....so also educate yourself on ALL of them so you will know when you have the right Dr.
