Chiari Decompression Surgery

Hello,

Was wondering if anyone had this surgery done recently or in the past with a NS here in San Antonio, TX, and if so who did surgery?  I just found out I have that, and of course, I'm scared at the thought of brain surgery!  Who isn't??

So I'd please appreciate any help or feedback on anyone who can sorta help me with any comments or doctors names.

Hi and welcome to the chiari forum.

We do have a thread of names of drs that members here have used.....not sure if the dr u mentioned is on it.....but u may want to take a look.

U really want a true chiari specialist and not all NS r.....so do research all drs even the ones on our list!!

Most of us do need to travel for this surgery to get to the right dr......
