Chiari Pain Relief

I am in so much pain right now. my neck is absolutely killing me and i cant get out of bed. I am 10 months post op on Dec. 16

Does anyone have any suggestions that i can try? i have been in pain like this the past 3 day and on and off for a week before that. i have to get some relief sometime soon, i cant take it.

  Hi..deff call ur NS...it may be that u over did it with ur daily activities....

The heating pad idea may help.....

Have u been to get ur post op MRI?

Are you still taking pain meds?  I would call you NS and tell them about this.  You don't need to be in pain.  I would suggest heat and ice also.  I know when I have HA's like this I put the heating pad on my head and put a pillow on top of it.  For some reason for me it takes some of the pressure off.  Try this and I pray it helps you also.  Taking your pain med's in a timely pattern helps.

Did you do something to bring it on?  What does NS say?
Have you tried heat?  Ice?
I hope you get relief soon.
