Does anyone here have any experience with Dr. Recinos?  I called yesterday to get an appt. with her to evaluate my chiari and they had an appt. next week open!!!  I nearly fell off my chair as it usually takes a couple months to get in.  I then asked for the next available appt. and they gave me one in two weeks.  I'm actually shocked and it now makes me wonder if she is busy?  a good doctor?  It just has never been my experience to get in that quick and maybe it is no indication of anything,  just curious.  After reading so much on here concerning CC, I'm concerned, but don"t have any where else to go right now.  I was there 5 years ago for an appt. and I was very disappointed how it went.*( I did not see Dr. Di)   I'm hoping this time I don't get treated like I was a waste of their time. I was told I had chiari  but it wasn't bad and wouldn't get any worse.  Well five years later it is getting worse...so my GP wants me to get a spine flo study done.  I am hoping I have a better visit this time around.

  Hi...sorry I am not familiar with that drs name.....I do not remember reading if neone went and if they like them....I wish I could tell u more.

  Just remember that if this dr is not a true chiari specialist, that u can go elsewhere.....there r a few drs that most of us go to and yes they r extremely busy and it takes some time to get in...it could be that this dr is a NS that is willing to treat chiari, not a NS that specializes in it...that is the diff...and they get experience from doing surgery after surgery, plus may chiari drs do their own research on chiari.
