hi,he was my daughters consultant hun regarding problems with her spine..syringomyelia..my daughter hasnt had a operation for this..but we seen him for approx 10 years,my daughter has just turned 18 so she has transitioned now to aintree hospital. but in all that time she was under him as well as other consultants..Mr.Spinty,Dr.kneed,and many more,he was a wonderful doctor and i know he has a fantastic reputation in his field..im sorry i cant be of more help regarding your question,i dont know what problem you have,i assume its an operation of some sort because you mention your concern about hair being shaved..but i know you are in good hands. have you rang alderhey hospital? whenever i had concerns regarding my daughter,i would ring the consultants secratary and they would always pass my concerns on and somebody would always get back in touch to answer any questions i had.. best of luck to you,and if you have any other questions or you just want to chat please post back with best wishes lisa x
