Dr.John Oro
I wanted to let you all know. Dr. John Oro does not take patients under the age of 14. For the chiari malformation. My question is is there a reason.

I would imagine it would be because pediatric patients are still developing and their structures have a tendency to change significantly. At approx 14 or maybe a little younger puberty sets in and the body's growth is near complete. Plus pediatric neurology/NS are a specialty all their own.

Hope this helps a little.

His office provided me with a list of pediatric specialists for my niece so if they didn't refer you to anyone else, I'm certain if you call back they would be more than happy to assist you.
