Fatigue

Is it normal to be so fatigued with Chiari and syrinx? I have a mild spastic gait and my leg muscles just feel so tired   Or Am I just crazy?

yes it is normal to be tired and fatigued. and for me it comes and goes so much that when i do have energy i tend to over do it... I am having to learn just cause i am having a good day dosent mean that I able to do the stuff I could before the chiari showed up..

my legs and arms get so tired sometimes I dont even want to pick anything up but like I said mine comes and goes all day..

Hi..with pain comes fatigue...first our bodies struggle to keep going, and fight to understand, and fight to stay balanced...no wonder we r sooooo tired...plus we have those nights even tho we r tired we do not fall asleep....

And Molly posted that she was told how chiarians do not go into REM sleep, and is y we do not feel rested no matter how much we sleep.
