Floaters?????? Anyone else get these? Questions

Hmmmm so every once in awhile ( meaning maybe twice a week ) I will see floaters. Red black white dots "jumping" around in my vision...I was never diagnosed though. I have heard floaters come along with migraines but they don't think its migraines. I have a daily persistent headache everyday all day

I have gotten them for years and they are worse when the background is light

I get them to, but my HA don't seems to get worst when it append.

yeah my headache doesn't get worse when it happens either but its disturbing

  HI I still get floaters none have been red...only black....and I get dry eye, where one eye waters to no end and it lasts a few days then it is ok, but the floaters r really bad when my eyes r dry....I know some meds can affect this as well as EDS...so not sure which is to blame in my case....

But when this happens it is difficult to see and do things I like ......

I had floaters even on no meds prior to diagnosis.  Eye dr said retinal floaters.  If I look at a white wall and move my eyes around the black spots move. Light color tv or iPad screen...clear sky.  It could be that they are always there and you notice them a couple times a week when there are no distractions.

i have the same as rylanesmom...i think its constantly there, but shades of light can make u feel it really differently. when i was in germany for xmas the grey shade of the daylight made it even difficult to see anything clear, i thought i am getting blind. but here back in spain with the sunlight i dont notice until night

I always see really small like "sprinkles on a cake" black ones when I look at the sky with sunlight. But Ill just be sitting in the house and red and black ones float around in my vision. Fun, fun

I too get the floater thing & it is very bothersome at best..My own are black & sometimes a neon green which I truly hate..They are actually the worst when I close my eyes to take a shower & that sort of thing..They're there throughout the day, but it seems just the pressure of closing my eyes makes them worse..After cataract surgery in 2005 & 2006, I would see this one black crescent outside my left eye..It took months for that to go away & now when I type, the letters do not always appear to be just black..I see some purple, green, brown...clearly not all the same colored letters...That just started a few months ago, so have to believe, this, too, might be chiari related..I also have the dry eye thing that Selma has but each morning, due to Apnea, wake up with eyes that are crusted over..Had a secondary cataract taken care of in the left eye that i hoped would help with some of my vision issues, but my surgeon told me that most are all of these other problems are neurological in nature....Will be seeing a neurosurgeon on the 31st, so hopefully, will get me on the road to getting some of these kinks worked out....lynda
