Fluid Leak

by Kateums32, Jul 26, 2009 09:45PM
Hey all .

I had my surgery one month ago today. Everything went great until now. I have an open spot on my scar, and clear fluids are coming out. Sometimes it bleeds, or is a greenish infection color. I'm going back to the doctor tomorrow. If anyone knows anything about what is going on here, or about what they will do to fix it, please let me know!

Thanks so much!
Kate

Hi Kate...how do u feel?

It could be the scabs are falling off the scar....I had a clear fluid as well.....but it did stop....but not sure about the greenish stufff.....hope the dr can help clear this up.

Is the area where the fluid is coming from still tender? or sore?

I hope all u may need is an antibiotic.....???

Let us know.
