Foot issues

Since my son's issues started he always said the left side of his body is worse than his right side. For months now he's been getting pins and needles and numbness in both feet and again his left foot is worse. Recently we went for new shoes and at his fitting we realized that his left foot is over a size smaller than his right. I don't know how we missed this because it's very obvious when he standing in his bare feet. I know most people have one foot smaller than the other. But I've always had his feet measured and it's never been an issue. One Doctor did mention last year that he has very high arches and I'm looking at his feet and thinking his left arch now looks higher than the right. He's 16 years old so should be almost fully grown.  Anyone else have anything like this?

Yes I remember the shape his foot had, just did not remember the name ....and I wish I knew y Drs brush off these issues....it is just not right.

I am feeling better now that I have strong meds.....but it makes me wonder y none of this was picked up on b4, I did mention it b4....I guess they figured it was not chiari related....my PCP feels it is and has me going to a few Drs locally to get opinions and then back to NY....so we will see,. thanks for asking .

Viva001. Yes. he has a dx. 6mm Chiari and a slight prominence in central spinal canal from C6 to T4. (Over 2 years on and no one has been able to tell us what this prominence is.)

Hi Selma:) Hope you're feeling better. Yes. It was Cavus Foot. It's just once again this is another thing that the NL ignores. (Aaron must have the longest ignore list in history!!! lol)
2 weeks ago he did a 10k walk. He had been having some pain in his foot and I tried to talk him out of it.. but he went ahead with it. He hasn't been able to walk for more than a few minutes since then. He has been seeing a Physio and we got special running shoes and insoles to help and they did seem to help.. but now Physio says he shouldn't do any sort of running.

Crys86.. Thank you so much. I had seen one of these sites. I've been looking everywhere to see what's going on with him!! NL says it's nothing to do with chiari (just like the other 101 symptoms have nothing to do with chiari or anything Neuro ) But don't give any answers to what it is or could be.
Thanks again everyone. :)

Does he have a Dx?  I don't really know, but doesn't scoliosis do this?
I do know that he might continue growing for up to several more years.
