I am very thankful that Dr. Rosner is back in action! :) I pray many are able to be helped by him, and that the NC medical board will finally see how much of a help he is to Chiari patients.
Rebecca
That is very unfortunate and not fair to dr r!
Molly
Molly, because the drs that sit on the board do not have the knowledge of chiari that Dr Rosner has....and they disagree as to what and how it should or should not be treated.
This is the same issue TCI is having with TC surgeries....many do not believe that it is a help, or needed.....these drs do not feel chiari is symptomatic....
We all know better than that....
This was not the first time Dr R had to go thru this...most likely not the last, we just pray it is a long time b4 he has to deal with this again.

y was it taken away in the first place??
fabulous news all the way around!!!!
bumping so others can find the info
It will be awesome to have a specialist like him that close to me!! I will keep you posted!
Cool...let me know if u find out nething else....
That's wonderful. I will be calling his office on Monday!!
I would imagine, as the girls who posted on FB was at all the hearings ......here is what she said on her wall concerning restrictions-
Hey, Fellow Rosnerite!!! His license is unrestricted as far as surgeries...he can do ALL surgeries! Only "restriction" is that each surgical patient for hypoplastic posterior fossa needs to be seen by a NEUROLOGIST (not a neurosurgeon as before since proven that they do not have the knowledge that he has) for a neurological exam (no tests beyond consultation and no review of films)! After one year of this "restriction," he will have an informal interview and if he has done paperwork submissions for all surgical patients, they will make his license without any restrictions!!! So wonderful to meet you yesterday...we were heard even though they would not let us testify!!
According to the NC medical board website he is still listed as inactive. But the hearing was yesterday, maybe they havent updated yet.
I do not know that there r ne...what was mentioned in this thread was taken from an older article......
I've been following this from Lisa's fb page, excellent news?? What's the restrictions???
Thanks for the added info !!! But this is an old article.....from 2008.....not sure if it is giving the correct info for what has just happened...he has been plagued by this issues of the board taking his license and then restoring only part of it.....
Here is an article about Dr Rosner. He is back to practicing with restrictions.
