Having surgeru

I have a lot of symptoms, and I am having surgery. I see a lot of horror stories posted here. Did anyone have a good experience?  At least help the pain and other problems?

I had surgery 6 yrs ago this May and I had a positive experience....I know those that have had bad experiences do post more then those that had a good one...but that does not mean we are not out there......

It is all a matter of having the right Dr, ruling out ALL related conditions as they can affect how you feel and heal post op.

Hello again. I can share a positive surgical experience. I won't lie and say it was easy; however, I was well cared for and carefully monitored during surgery and for my hospital stay. I can definitely say that I am free of many of my Chiari symptoms 8 months post-op. I would always recommend to do extensive homework to educate yourself about the disorder and other conditions that can sometimes exist with chiar. Yes, I had a good experience and would do it again if I had to.
