Headache after eating

Hey y'all!
Does anyone else get a headache and shoulder pain after eating? Sometime accompanied by nausea too.
I know that blood pressure goes up after eating and I suppose it can impact CSF pressure.
I don't eat anything until after 11am and feel pretty good up until I eat. It happens after my evening
meal too...Gotta eat, a disconcerting symptom to say the least.

If your eating you bend your head forward that could be pinching your cord ect. and causing your Chiara pains.  I ate with my plate elevated on the coffie table on top of a cooler today,  It helped I think I will do it again next meal.  My neck is sensitive right now. No surgury yet.

Sounds like it is GERD issues as that can affect the vagus nerve and can happen if u eat spicy foods like tacos and acidic foods like lasagna.

The empty stomach feeling happens when we produce more acids then we need...so eat 4 to 5 meals a day, but small meals so there is food in ur stomach to use up the acids....it may help. Be mindful of ur food choices and keep the meals small so u do not gain too much weight...but this is suggested for those with GERD, and being pregnant will cause a flare as will having Chiari.

I am pregnant but notice my stomach always feels empty, even when I've just eaten. Another symptom I get that freaks me out is after a rich meal (lasagna or tacos for example) I get shaky and weak and have to lie down I feel like fainting. I wondered if the vagus nerve causes this. It is a cyclical symptom for me, but very scary when it is present. Feels just like low blood sugar...but it is AFTER eating :/

No GERD or bloating. I follow the lean gains diet because anytime I would eat breakfast in the morning I would be starving in 2 hours, no matter what I ate. Now I never get that hungry in the morning or any other time during the day. I eat very few wheat products and minimal sugar because they can cause me to bloat. I drink lots of water with my meals so I know I'm not dehydrated...
Was just curious to see if anyone else had that issue because it's a relatively new symptom for me.

Hi Suzy...I wonder if it is a GERD issue and the fact u wait to eat until after 11AM u may have some bloating that occurs and affects ur vagus nerve....that along with the BP issue, it may be y u feel like this after u eat.....

U may want to try and eat more frequently but smaller meals to see if there is a change....
