Are all headaches caused by Chiari located in the same place?

It is possible she has headaches in other areas but this area (front) feels different or stronger  or are just new.....when we have pain since birth, we tend to accept how we feel as "normal" so knowing what truly is "normal" or a symptom can be difficult to say the least.

Have testing done and see if Chiari is present....do not go by where she has pain

Thanks. My daughter seems to only have them in the frontal area which I thought was strange.

Do they start there? Mine always start in the neck/ back of my head but spread to my forehead. So when I lay with ice, it's usually on my forehead for the most skin contact. I would ask her where her headaches start. Or what she notices (if anything) before headaches.   It might be useful for her to keep a sort of headache log/journal.  Has she been diagnosed and seen by a specialist?

Hi...typical Chiari headaches tend to be low in the back of the head just above where the head joins the neck....BUT I had headaches that wrapped around from temple to temple and was on top of my head.....

Chiari can come with other related conditions that too can cause headaches...which headaches is from which condition in my mind didn't matter....I know how I felt and I had Chiari....so it was related  in some shape or form.....

Drs  will say a Chiari headaches is the back of the head....but I really think we can have them all over.
