Help

I was diagnosed with ACM type 1 in April 2003.  I had decompression surgery in May of the same year.  My pain has never decreased.  I have constant headaches, neck pain, back pain, and numbness with tingling in my shoulder and arms.  I was sent to pain management for two years but quit the program due to addiction.  I am now lost.  The pain is worsening and I do not know where to turn or what to do.  I would appreciate any help that anyone could offer.  Thank you!

The best advice I can give is to find a Chiari Specialist. Not all doctors capable of performing the surgery are specialists.

We have a thread here listing Specialists, it might help you find one close to you.

Also, check with your PCP about Lyrica or some other Neurological Pain Blocker.
