Hi,
My neurologist at Stanford is unsure if this is Chiari or not. These are some images from my supine MRI, I am jockeying for a vertical, or sitting MRI.
Anyone have any idea if this could be considered a CM.
Some of my symptoms include:
-Constant cognitive fog. I have no problem thinking, there is just this feeling of my brain being underwater/slower.
-Short term memory problem
-Eye pressure, dryness, floaters, pain
-Ear ringing/tinnitus, aches
-Weak legs and arms
-Heavy sweating under my arms
-Increased BP (140/80) and lower body temperature (97's)
-Chest pain
-Tightness in chest/breathing irregularities
-Bouts of Tachycardia
-Short term memory problems (I know I already mentioned this, so this one is a joke :)
-Neck stiffness and shoulder pain
-Very bad insomnia, awake every 2 hours, even on Ambien and sleep meds.
-Anxiety problems (started once these symptoms reared their heads)
Thats the list for now, could any of this be linked to Chiari?
Thanks for looking!
PS-I am a 21 year old male, just graduated college (had a very very hard time finishing school), have lost about 20 lb's of muscle since the onset of these problems in late March, so about 3 months ago.
.. I am unsure how to post photos for now, so I will try to include them later in the discussion.
