Ok look at it like this, you need the normal every day stuff that you use at home, make that list. Next look at the
immediate post opp, some thing to moisten your lips and mouth because you cant drink for some time post opp. You will have been fasting pre opp and this will leave you feeling dry.

The days after the opp. Look at clothing. Loose clothing ect, visitors, do you want people other than family….
Entertainment, books, I-pod ect
Check out the hospital security policies, what you need to lock away ect

Hygiene, sterile wipes ect because you may be in bed for a few days. And so on and so on

Hi...soon I will have one location for this list.....but it is in 2 parts right now.....

Button top PJ's...light weight
xtra socks for the cold feet
facial wipes
hard candies
ear plugs ( staff acts like it is mid day during the overnight shift)
CD player- audio books ect ( after u r in a room)
pillow....one u know is comfortable for u ( I was allowed mine in ICU)
If u need the room dark...an eye mask that hooks to ur ears...the strap around the head won't work bcuz of the scar
money for vending machines- or deli...hosp food not that great
