Hey there, I don't post often but I'm here again. I'm really declining in health and my symptoms are getting more severe with new ones happening also.
I have had brain MRI, cervical spine MRI and a cine flow MRI. The NS I sent my brain MRI to stated that 'it possibly isn't Chiari, but don't rule it out'. And gave me a referral for the cine CSF flow MRI. I had that done yesterday. I've had a look at it and to me it looks like flow is not getting past the tonsils. It looks to me like my tonsils are creating a plug in the foramen magnum. It's driving me crazy not knowing what is going on with me. I have most of the classic Chiari symptoms, my tonsils are not heavily herniated, rather they look to be plugging and crowding the brain stem.
I have a sleep study scheduled for tomorrow and seeing a cardiologist also as my heart rate increases when I stand up. It's goes crazy fast and I get dizzy and out of breath.
Is there anyone in America that I can send my scans to just so they can take a look and tell me what they see. Others with Chiari have had a look and they all say they see that I clearly have Chiari and my flow is blocked.
I have recently been diagnosed with DDD, bulging discs, bone spurs, loss of disc height and loss of cervical lordosis in my cervical spine, and I see that's a common problem in Chiari patients. I also have scoliosis which was diagnosed in my late teens.
I just want someone to tell me what is wrong with me, not just say that maybe I have Chiari. You either do or you don't.
Thanks for listening to me.
