Is it normal to feel almost normal sometimes?

Hi everyone.. Still here and just learning by reading everyone’s posting.
I still haven't seen any NS.. Appointment on 11/24. I'm hoping he's knowledgeable on CM.
Question:
Do some of you have days or maybe 1/2 days when you feel almost normal (no symptoms)?
I don't know if it's because I've been really trying to take it easy lately or what?
I was dx with a 9mm herniation (by an Orthopedic Surgeon) and have had mostly the following symptoms buy not all the time:
Headache (mainly in the back of my head)
Blocked ears
Feeling like someone is sitting on the top of my head
Stabbing neck and back pain, also in arms sometimes (like being tazered or shocked)
Dizzy
Tired
Tingling in hands and feet
Aching/heavy arms
Can not think sometimes
Do these symptoms sound normal to you.  My headaches seem to be the worst at night when I want to sleep.  The tingling in hands and feet seem to be when I sit for too long.  Haven't had any feeling like I could not walk but I do get pretty dizzy sometimes.  
Sorry to ramble but sometimes I wonder if I really even have CM.
Any help would be great!

lol yes I feel normal from time to time and yes i have ALL those symptoms and no you are not rambling on and yes YOU HAVE CM if you have a 9mm herniation......
because the symptoms of CM are so vague and unpredictable this leads to confusion and makes getting a DX very difficult for us...


Have you had a MRI of your cervical spine, there are some other related conditions such as a syrinx that need to be ruled out....

Hi Kim...ditto what Ray said ...plus, chiari symptoms can cycle....u can be in a period where the symptoms r very manageable...and at times non existent...... and u will know when u r in a bad flare.....no fun at all.

Yes, I've had an MRI. I guess I'lll just have to see what the NS says.
It's nice to know that I don't have to feel like total **** every day of my life!
