I just got a call from Renee at the WICC. She said she had a cancellation and I could move my appt. date up. I will be leaving next Mon. 11/9 and I will have some tests on Tues. 11/10 and see the doctors on 11/11.....Yeah!!
I just wanted to share that with you all since you have been such great support!!

Thank you...I just hope it is worth the trip.

We are flying. There wasn't a straight flight so it is going to be longer than I hoped. We leave Columbus at 6:20 p.m. and get into WI at 9:10 p.m. We have a layover in Chicago. The fight itself is only about 2 hrs. and our layover is about 2 hrs. I hate layovers but I would crawel to WI if I had to...lol We will be returning home on Wed., we will be leaving at 7:20 p.m. and getting back into Columbus at 11:37 p.m.
It will be a long few days but it will certainly be worth it if I can finally get some help. Renee (the woman I spoke to at WICC) said that he never has anyone make the trip to WICC unless he feels it will be of benefit. I was real happy to hear that. I told her I just didn't want to get disapointed again and have it turn out like the trip to TCI.

I will certainly let you know what happens.

You'll be there when I'm there having my surgery.  Dr. Heffez is doing my decompression and disc surgery on Monday morning.  I think you'll find it to be a pleasantly surprising experience.  I'd had such terrible medical experiences since I was diagnosed until I got to Dr. Heffez.  I really appreciate Lisa for referring me.  I hope your appointment goes well!

lol...that is great! I just talked to n40066 earlier and she had an appt. today with Dr. H and she really enjoyed her expirence. I am really looking forward to my appt. and I hope it all turns out the way I want.

all the best to you Meg on your trip to see Dr. H. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Please let us know how this all goes for you. My son was just recently dx with chiari I. so I am learning so much from all of everyones experiences.  I hope you get the answers you need.

I hope you find a good chiari specialist since there are not to many nl and ns out there that seem to know to much aboout chiari. I will keep you and your son in y prayers.
