Hi all,

As you are scheduled for surgery please add it to this thread so we know when it is.Please also have a contact person update us on ur progress until u r up to rejoining us.

  No worries....just look at the dates on the thread if it is old then you can assume there is a newer one....I know it is hard as the threads get long I create another one, and why I know have a date at the top too...lol...it is confusing for me too....

Hi, my name is Mekisha. My decompression surgery is scheduled for December 5th.

  Hi and welcome to the Chiari  forum.

U will want ur sister to do neck exercises for those that have had this surgery....it will help the muscles from getting tight which will also cause pain....I have a chart with diff exercises posted on it,. ask me about it....

And do post a new thread so u can get more replies and suggestions for ur sister, I use this thread to post prayer threads for those with up coming surgeries. :  )

Thank you so much for the support. My sister doesn't post here, i do it for her instead. She is having a lot pain in her cervical spine, not able to move around her head easily. She had an herniation of 14mm with syrinx but she was asymptomatic.

My sister got done with her surgery on 19th Nov 2012.. she is a new Zipperhead..
