I am home from my surgery in colorado. I had anterior cervical discetomy and fusion. I had to stay in the hospital for almost a week because of complications. I am okay now and am home and just wanted everyone to know. Take care!

Hi eveyone my surgery is scheduled for October 29th and pre op is October 21st . And for those who asked I noticed my headaches/ symptoms are a TON more intense with menstural cycles!!!
My surgery is scheduled for 10/28. I'm hoping things go well and that this was the right decision. I'll try to give updates as soon as possible afterwards.
My surgery is scheduled for November the 9th. I'm have the decompression surgery and a spinal cord surgery to fix a disc in my neck. I'll ask someone to do an update for me.
Add ur surgery date...and remember to have someone post updates on ur progress...and then add ur drs name to our specialist thread if u were happy with him/her.

I am having surgery for DDD and reversal of cspine on Feb. 24 with Dr. Oro. He has to put a metal rod in my neck and fix the 2 ruptured discs before he can do my decompression surgery. Has anyone else had this surgery before? I don't know exactly what it is called just that he has to put in a metal rod and 3 screws into the bone. The decompression will probably be around May, but I will let you all know when I know the exact date since I have to recover from this surgery first before he can do they other surgery. Thanks everyone and good luck to all.
LG or Lori
