I have had several surgeries in the past, not decompression though and the best scar cream I have found was called mederma. My scars are minimal, especially the one from my hysterectomyHysterectomy Hysterectomy - series (they had to cutCuts and puncture wounds across my abdomen). You can also contact a dermatologist, they may be able to give you another option if you can't find the mederma. Also scar healing depends on the tyoe of skin you have and my take sometime to get smaller/thinner looking.
Glad to see you back and doing well..ps noticed the other post... HAPPY belated BIRTHDAY!!
I already had one scar that was over 2 years old, and my back and neck were bugging me, so I had Josh rub Icy Hot on it. I think I'd rather under-go another surgery than put Icy Hot on a scar again! I was in so much pain, it was unbelievable!

and I know I have heard of mederma b4, just wondering if it will also help the pulling feeling....my hair will cover the scar itself.....and since I have EDS I am slow to heal....I still have marks on my ankle from surgery 2 yrs ago....so I know it might not make it smaller or fade....
I am just interested in how it feels.
Thanks again : )
