My Inner GPS

I was so frustrated with myself yesterday.  I went to the outside mall with my daughter, and would just walk a few feet and not know where I had been or how I was going to get to the store that we wanted to go to.  My daughter kept asking me do you know where u are now?  I didn't know, and she knew it.  Its very frustrating.

I used to be able to know spot on, where I was, and now I feel lost when I go places.

Selma, you just make my day .... :-)

I used to be an equity trader in over the counter trading.  I answered a lot of calls and wrote a lot of tickets.  I could name the people I talked to, their companies, what they bot and sold.  Now I can't find my way home sometimes, or find my way out of a store.

Hi...I know how frustrating this can be...I stopped going places alone for this reason....it is very scary....I had issues yrs ago driving my DD to college, and I took the same rt and several times did not recognize the area....it can get very scary.

From my personal experience this did get better post op....and I really feel it is from the compression of the brain stem.....
Once that pressure is removed, we slowly stop having many of the issues that scare us....

  Hang in there : )
