Nausea When Swallowing

So, I have a new symptom now. I'm getting waves of nausea when I swallow. To the point where I can't force myself to swallow because I'm sure I'm going to throw up. As soon as I am able to swallow the nausea goes away. Anyone had anything like this?

Hi...do you have a syrinx? I am wondering if a nerve is impinged that is triggering that symptom.....I use to get nausea, but it was not related to swallowing....Do report all symptoms to your Dr.

Did you ever get the results of the testing for tethered cord?

Selma, sorry for the delay in responding. I do not have a syrinx and the mri came back negative for a tethered cord. Also, have you ever heard of a Dr. Jean-Valery Charles-Emile Coumans?
The name is not one I recall....where is this Dr located?
