So many Neurologists focus on MS, fibromyalgia, etc...I know CM is a surgical kind of neurological disorder, but I sure wish there were more neuros out there that knew and understand CM. Since I had to have brain surgery (temporal lobe) to remove a brain mass in December, I am not really looking forward to any other surgery at this time...but would love another way to address my symptoms.
So, to my Ohio/mid-west Chiarians, do you have any good experiences with Neurologists who really 'get' Chiari???
Hi...sorry u r having this problem, but all NL's tend to go this RT.....try calling a NS that is a chiari specialist and ask for a NL referral to get the care u need at this point.
Most chiari specialists do have a NL they work with...so try that.
