Neurologist

My daughter has just recently had an MRI which presented with 7mm cerebellar tonsils protruding from the foramen magnum. I have struggled to get an appointment with a neurologist asap, because my husband has also been given his 30 day notice in regards to a government lay off which would effect our insurance. I am trying to expedite everything as much as I can, so I am looking for some recommended doctors in the North Alabama/Tennessee region.

Hi and welcome to the Chiari forum.

May I suggest u go with cobra as it will last a little more then a yr and give u the same coverage u have now...it will give u time to get into a NS and time for ur DH to locate another job with similar benefits....as long as u keep coverage  they have to accept the pre existing condition.

We do have a list of Drs here for u to use as a tool to research Drs, the list is NOT a referral....

If there is ne way we can be of help please let us know : )
