Neurosurgeon dies in plane crash

Dr. Evan Zeiger and his wife from Birmingham, AL were killed in a plane crash in FL this past saturday. One of our members, DanielleP83, was scheduled to have surgery by dr. Zeiger next month! Please keep this family, the poor children who lost both their parents, in your prayers. And Danielle as she finds another NS for chiari surgery!

Danielle I pray for u and Dr Zeiger's family and his associates as I am sure this is a most difficult time.

And Danielle Please keep us posted on ur surgery and the actual date  u get rescheduled on.

I had only met with Dr. Zeiger twice, but I really liked him!  He was the best!  I had heard nothing but good things about him!  He was the top neurosurgeon in my area.  There are 2 other surgeons in the practice with him.  Dr. Robinson will be performing my surgery.  My original surgery date was April 6th.  I was told that the date may be pushed up a few days or pushed back a few days.  I meet with Dr. Robinson on Marcfh 30th at 12:45 and then I have an appt. at 3:00 for my pre-surgery testing.  Please keep me in your prayers as well as Dr. Zeiger's family, friends & co-workers.

That's really too bad...the poor kids...that's so sad!

I really hope for Danielle that she finds another NS so that she can keep her surgery date.
