New pressure??!?

Yesterday I had one of my bad dizzy spells (haven't had them in a while but back when I'd have them my front gums/teeth would go numb and I'd feel really nauseas)

Well this dizzy spell lasted a lil longer than normal and I got the numbness in my front gums/teeth like usual and was nauseated but also I felt this weird pressure feeling around my left temple! It's kind of bothering ke bc it's still there today!

Usually the pressure I feel is in the back bottom part of my head and that's still there but now there's also this bothersome pressure feeling around my left temple too!

This is gonna be weird but I'm gonna try to explain this as best I can... Mouth closed, teeth together, and then press teeth harder down back and forth (teeth constantly touching) try this! When I do it... I feel my right temple moving in and out but not my left! Both use to but not since yesterday!

Anyone know what may be going on? It may be nothing but it kind of worries me!

Thx Selma! Well my apt isn't until November 30th! Maybe I'll make it till then! Lol

The pressure actually hasn't been as bad today so that's good!! Now if only I could get the pressure in the back of my head to leave even for a day I'd be good! But nope it's constant!

Hi...it could be nerve compression that may be causing it as it is one of the main reasons for many of our symptoms.

Please let us know what ur dr advises : )

It's on my list of things to mention! Just hope it's soon! It seems like many of my symptoms have gotten worse in the last few weeks so I'm ready to talk to him! Was just hoping someone on here would know what it may be! I do try not o think about it but sometimes it's hard not to! Thanks for the advice Hun!

Even with all this great advice, it's always best to ask your doctor. At least give them a call. That being said, Chiari does alot to the nerves in your brain, and that could be what's going on. Another thing is we find out we have Chiari and then EVERYTHING freaks us out.  I remember I used to get a pain in my right temple, and ever convimced I was going to have an anyruism, I went running to the doctor. Never did turn out to have one, I just was always told it was nothing and if I quit thinking about it, it would probably go away. Not saying this is what you should do though LOL- ask your doc, if they say it is nothing, then try to get your mind onto something else. If you find that it only bothers yow when you think about it, it might just be you are thinking about it too much. If it comes and goes, it might be a nerve issue. At least do yourself a favor, put your mind at ease and call your doctor. Good luck!
