Occipital nerve block consultation, (tomorrow) opinions, experiences anyone?

I'm going tomorrow morning to a neuro pain Dr to discuss a possible occipital nerve block as this scalp pain is SO unbareable! Does anyone have any experience or advise in this area? It would be greatly appreciated. :-) Lisa

Since I am just starting to go through all of the diagnostic tests (There are lots to figure out what mixes and mingles!) Could you please describe to me your symptoms and whether you have a formal diagnosis of this or not?

Thanks!
