Please pray for Kristi Smith's family

I am not sure if Kristi was a member on this board.  I had been following her journey on a Facebook Chiari group.  

She was having her 5th Chiari surgery this morning and tragically didnt make it through.  Another precious Chiari

sister's life lost to this disease. At least we know she is no longer suffering.  Please pray for strength and peace for

her family.  R.I.P. Kristi.


Please tell someone everyday about this disease.  We have to help spread awareness.  More awareness, more

research, more funding will hopefully lead to a cure or at least better treatments.

  No she was not a member here....but we do want to all keep her friends and family in our prayers.....

The best we can all do is awareness like u said Pam and another member said today as well....Check out the locations for the Chiari walk this Sept 17th.

Her friends and family are in my prayers too.. how awful and so unnecessary....the only comfort I can give is that she is now pain free and resting in peace.

I am absolutely heartbroken for her...as I said on Facebook, she had surgery RIGHT before me at the same hospital with the same doctor. Just an hour or so before mine. I can't believe she's gone. :(
