Raynauds and Chiari

Does anyone else have Raynauds along with Chiari? Has your dr said that there is a link between the two? My NL is saying no that it has more of an issue along the circulation line. What I don't get is that if I have compressed vessels in my brain, isn't that causing a circulation issue? Anywho, any info that you guys have would be great on this issue.

Hi Sheila,

I was dx with Raynauds yrs ago b4 my chiari dx and TCI said I did not have Raynauds and it was EDS.....

Right now my hands r so cold they hurt....I have resorted to wearing gloves in the house....the thick slipper socks do not keep my toes warm either.

Hi Selma....I have read the info on EDS and some of the symptoms I have, which is very strange because they overlap with others diagnosis. I feel like I'm a walking timebomb and wondering how many issues I can be diagnosed with.

My feet are blue right now at work and I have a heater on by them. Not working!!!

I don't dare go outside during the winter if I don't have. It's just way too painful and the summer is off limits too...I can't stand air conditioning.

How are you diagnosed with this? Who do you see? I think my NL is thinking I am just a walking nutcase because I call her and run all this by her and she says that the symptoms are just a side effect of waht is going on inme right now. What to do ? What to do?

I was diagnosed with raynauds before my chiari dx,also, same symptoms blue hands and feet . I myself wear long sleeves and gloves ,extra socks as well as scarves,etc'very painful. my family thinks I am crazy I wear long sleeves even in the summer, the air conditioning in offices etc, is too painful. wow it is weird , I wonder if they correlate?

they deff correlate......
